Rooms, hallways and stairwells
Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways and the tall stairwell walls most people cannot reach. We fill and sand first, seal any stains, mist coat fresh plaster, then put on two full coats with the edges cut in by hand.
Pick the colour and finish you want and we will tell you honestly whether it suits the room. Matt for walls and ceilings as standard, a wipeable finish for kitchens, bathrooms and busy hallways.
- Filling, sanding and stain blocking before any paint goes on
- Two full coats, edges cut in by hand
- Feature walls, ceilings and tall stairwells

Skirting, doors, spindles and banisters
Interior woodwork takes the most knocks and shows the most age. Skirting boards, architraves, doors and frames, window boards, spindles, handrails and panelling are sanded back, knotted and primed where bare, undercoated and finished in satin or gloss.
Old yellowed gloss can be brought back to a clean white, and dark stained banisters can be painted over properly rather than just covered.
- Skirting, architraves, doors and frames
- Staircases, spindles, handrails and panelling
- Satin or gloss, water-based for low smell where you want it

Damaged walls put right before paint
Cracks, holes, blown plaster and the marks left by fitted furniture or old wallpaper are repaired before anything is painted, so the finish lasts. One customer had a feature wall damaged by a wardrobe fitter; it was restored and repainted in a vibrant colour, masked off and floors covered throughout.
If a wall needs a plasterer rather than filler, we will say so rather than paint over a problem.
- Cracks, holes and blown plaster made good
- Old wallpaper stripped and walls prepared
- Feature walls in bold colours
How we keep your home tidy
- Floors covered and furniture moved to the middle of the room or out of it, then put back
- Sockets, switches, fittings and anything you cannot move masked off
- Low-odour water-based paints available if you are living in the house while we work
- Everything hoovered and wiped down at the end of each day, not just the last one

Questions people ask
How long does a room take?
A typical bedroom or living room is one to two days including woodwork. A hallway, stairs and landing is usually two to three. We give you a timescale with the quote.
Do I need to move everything out?
No. Bring small and breakable things out of the room, and we will move the rest to the middle, cover it, and put it back.
Which paint do you use?
Good quality trade paint from the main brands, in the colour you choose. If you have already bought the paint we are happy to use it; the quote form asks either way.
Can you match a colour I already have?
Yes. Bring us the tin, a colour chart reference or even a photo and we will match it.
